Balloon Sinuplasty
Balloon sinuplasty is a less invasive treatment for chronic sinusitis. This safe, effective procedure offers a fast recovery time and relief from sinus pain and other symptoms.
SINUVA Spacer Insertion
For patients who have already had surgery to remove polyps, we may insert a SINUVA spacer at the removal site. This self-dissolving spacer releases steroids to reduce inflammation.
Removal of Polyps
Nasal polyps are treatable, noncancerous growths on the lining of your sinuses or nasal passages. They don’t always cause symptoms, but when they do, they can cause discomfort. Removal in the office is an option for many patients.
Endoscopic Sinus Surgery
Endoscopic sinus surgery is performed through the nostrils with the assistance of a small endoscope to relieve symptoms associated with chronic sinusitis, and in some cases, nasal polyps.

The Latera™ is an FDA-approved implant made of long-lasting, self-dissolving material. When inserted through the nostril into the nasal wall, Latera helps relieve nasal obstruction to improve airflow.

Turbinate Reduction

Removal of Polyps

Recent Nasal Fracture Repair
If you’ve broken your nose, it’s important to see us as soon as possible. We can reset and repair your nose within ten days of the injury. Otherwise, you may have to wait for surgery.
Removal of Foreign Bodies
Objects stuck in the nose risk causing infection or choking. If you are unable to remove with tweezers or by blowing, we can remove the object for you in our office.
Biopsy or Removal of Lesions
We may need to biopsy or remove nasal lesions in our office to rule out any potential issues and determine the most effective treatment if necessary.

Septoplasty
Septoplasty is a procedure for correcting a deviated septum (the bone and cartilage that divides your nostrils). It involves straightening and repositioning the septum in the center of your nose.

Allergy shots are the most common method of immunotherapy. Instead of treating the symptoms of environmental allergies, allergy shots can actually cure you of the allergy/allergies.
Allergy Drops
Similar to allergy shots, allergy drops are a needle-free way to help you get rid of your allergy/allergies. Instead of an injection, you’ll place allergy drops underneath your tongue each day.
Allergy Testing
With allergy testing, we can test for 40 different allergens at the same time to identify your allergies. This process offers same-day results, and is totally safe for both adults and children.
Biopsy or Removal of Lesions
If you have lesions on the walls of your throat, we may need to biopsy and/or remove them in our office to rule out or diagnose an issue and determine the most effective treatment.
Lingual Frenectomy
The frenulum is a thin strip of tissue that connects your tongue to the floor of the mouth. If it’s too short, we may need to cut it to resolve/prevent problems with speech and eating.
Throat Abscess Drainage
An abscess within the throat can cause pain, swelling, and blockage. We can drain the abscess in our office to reduce discomfort and allow it to heal without getting worse.
Endoscopic Biopsy of Lesions
We may want to biopsy certain lesions in the larynx or the base of the tongue using an endoscope. We can do this without surgery, using a thin tube with a camera on the end.
Tonsillectomy
A tonsillectomy (removal of the tonsils) may be necessary to treat sleep disorders, breathing problems, or tonsillitis that doesn’t respond to medical treatments.
Removal of Lesions
During a surgical procedure, we may need to remove nodules, cysts, or other lesions from your throat or voice box.
Neck Mass Removal
If you’ve noticed a lump in your neck that isn’t going away, you should get it evaluated. The evaluation with us includes a thorough physical exam and in most cases imaging such as with an ultrasound or MRI.
Parathyroidectomy
This procedure is performed to remove the parathyroid gland or glands that are right behind your thyroid gland in your neck.
Parotidectomy
A Parotidectomy is a solution for a growth affecting the parotid gland, the largest of the saliva producing glands, located just in front of and below the ear. It involves removing the lesion affecting the gland as well as part or all of the gland itself.
Flexible Laryngoscopy
Flexible laryngoscopy can be used to diagnose a variety of issues affecting the ear, nose, and throat. Dr. Davis prefers the flexible scope because it is more comfortable for the patient than a rigid scope and because it shows a broader picture of the entire upper airway.
Adenoidectomy
Adenoids are small pads of soft tissue located in the back of your nose, and an adenoidectomy is a solution for children and some adults who experience nasal congestion.
Removal or Shortening of Uvula
If we determine that the source of your excessive snoring is related to your uvula, a procedure can be performed to remove or shorten it resulting in a much more restful night’s sleep.
Radiofrequency Ablation of the Soft Palate
Your soft palate may be causing sleep apnea and snoring. This procedure tightens and shrinks the soft palate tissue to improve sleep quality.
Uvulopalatopharyngoplasty (UPPP)
As a treatment for obstructive sleep apnea, UPPP involves remodeling the tissue at the back of the throat to help open up the airway.
Radiofrequency Ablation of the Tongue
Your tongue may be causing sleep apnea and snoring. This procedure tightens and shrinks the tongue tissue to improve sleep quality.
Earwax Removal
Your ears produce earwax to naturally clean, protect, and lubricate the ear canal. In some cases, overproduction or buildup of wax can lead to symptoms of fullness, itching, partial hearing loss, and more.
Myringotomy With or Without Tube Placement (Adults)
Excess fluid or pus can build up in the middle ear, causing pressure and discomfort. A myringotomy—with or without tube placement—relieves pressure and allows for drainage.
Removal or Biopsy of Ear Lesions
Benign skin lesions on the external ear—such as moles or cysts—are very common. In some cases, these may need to be removed or biopsied to rule out additional sources of the problem.
Removal of Foreign Bodies
It’s not uncommon for foreign objects ranging from insects to cotton swabs to get lodged within the ear. Should this happen to you, we can safely and carefully remove the object.
Earlobe Repair
If your earlobe has been torn by an earring, it can be painful and unflattering. If this happens, we can repair the tear, giving you the ability to wear earrings again once it has healed.
Epley Maneuver
Also known as the Canalith Repositioning Maneuver, this maneuver relieves a certain kind of dizziness called benign positional vertigo. Usually, a 10 to 15-minute session is all you need.
Myringotomy with Tube Placement (Kids)
When excess pus or fluid builds up in the middle ear, it leads to discomfort and pressure. We perform an operation to relieve this pressure and allow for drainage through the insertion of ear tubes.
Balloon Dilation of the Eustachian Tube
Eustachian tube dysfunction (ETD) is a fairly common ear issue, causing hearing loss or a sensation of pressure or a clogged ear. The Aera Balloon lets us effectively treat this condition.
Ear Tube Removal
Ear tubes are used to relieve pressure and allow the ear to drain. After a period of time, we may need to surgically remove the ear tube and repair the eardrum using a tiny piece of earlobe fat.
Sophono® Hearing System
For children and adults with unilateral deafness, or hearing loss in one ear, we may recommend the Sophono magnetic bone anchored hearing system (BAHS) to restore hearing.

Do I need a referral to see an ENT at Breathe Clear?
No referral is required. You can call us directly at (310) 372-0700 or book online. If your primary care physician has recommended an ENT evaluation, we're happy to coordinate with their office — but a referral is not a prerequisite.
What's the difference between an ENT and an allergist?
An ENT specializes in structural and surgical conditions of the ears, nose, and throat. An allergist specializes in immune-driven conditions. At Breathe Clear, both specialties are available in the same practice, because a significant proportion of ENT symptoms have an allergic component that ENT care alone won't fully address.
What happens at the first ENT appointment?
Your first visit includes a thorough symptom review, a physical exam of the ears, nose, throat, and neck, and, for most complaints, a flexible scope examination to see the nasal passages, throat, and larynx directly. Allergy testing or hearing evaluation can be added at the same visit when indicated. You leave with a diagnosis and clear next steps.
Do you treat children?
Yes. We see pediatric ENT patients of all ages for the full range of concerns — ear infections, tonsil problems, enlarged adenoids, allergy evaluation, and more. Procedures for children are performed at a nearby accredited surgery center.
