Learn About Your Ear Pain
Ear pain is a broad topic and it can be caused by a multitude of things. Discomfort in the ear may simply be due to an injury of the ear canal with a Q-Tip, for example. Water exposure can cause an external infection commonly referred to as “swimmer’s ear.” Ear pain also can be due to pressure buildup or even fluid that has been trapped in the middle ear, causing an infection. TMJ (temporomandibular joint disorder) is another common cause of ear pain. Ear pain can also be “referred” from a source in the back of the nose or throat. If you’re experiencing chronic ear pain, let us know so we can evaluate you and make treatment recommendations. We are dedicated to getting you long-term relief from your ear pain.
