Some patients whose polyps have come back after surgery are candidates for placement of the Propel spacer inside the nose. The spacer releases topical steroids in the nose over a few weeks. It dissolves naturally and so removal is not necessary.MAKE AN APPOINTMENT
Dr. Davis places the Propel spacer in the office under local anesthesia. The process only takes a couple of minutes. Dr. Davis delivers the spacer using a small cannula that he places in the nostril. There is no downtime and minimal if any post-procedure discomfort. The spacer dissolves on its own so removal is not necessary.
